Can you afford a £5,000 fine?
Choosing a washroom services provider is quite straight forward isn’t it? You meet with a few company representatives, ask them to tell you about their customer service, product quality and pricing policy and choose the best one that suits your needs – right? Wrong!
If you are providing ladies sanitary bins or nappy disposal facilities, or need to dispose of sharps, swabs and medical dressings from your first aid kit, you are producing “Controlled Waste” and the law regarding the disposal of these types of waste products requires some very special attention.
Choose the wrong washroom services supplier and you could expose your company to a £5,000 fine (or more) under the Duty of Care legislation. Here at Elite you won’t run that risk because we have all the legislation legally covered and can provide you with the peace of mind knowing that you won’t be breaking the law.
Find out now if you might unwittingly be at risk of breaking the law!
- When you click on the red warning triangle or the Elite Representative, our online Risk Assessment Questionnaire will launch in a new pop-up window
- There are just twelve questions to be answered with a Yes, No or Don’t Know answer and so it will only take a few minutes to complete
- The purpose of the questionnaire is to provide you with important information in regard to the responsibilities you have under the Duty of Care legislation

Washroom Service Providers
There are many washroom service providers within the industry that are only licensed to carry waste on their vehicles and in fact break the law by operating as waste transfer stations.
When considering a washroom service provider it is essential that companies check that the service provider is correctly licensed and that they are operating within the boundaries of that licence. Every company has the right to request a full audit trail of Waste Transfer Notes for any consignment of waste they have produced and had collected on any given day.
If the Environment Agency requests this information from any of our customers we can guarantee to supply this within 7 days of the request.
